An Evening Conversation with Slovakia’s Former Prime Minister

LibertasCouncil 20240618 EFM 23On June 18, 2024, the Libertas Council hosted a dinner event in Washington D.C., featuring a conversation with the Honorable Eduard Heger, former Prime Minister of Slovakia. This event gathered military veterans, non-governmental organizations, and government leaders. Attendees explored the topic of leadership amidst challenging times.  

Former Prime Minister Heger opened discussion by addressing the critical issue of combating misinformation in periods of turmoil and conflict. He emphasized the importance of steady moral leadership, courage, and the importance of fact-based journalism during times of conflict.
